I am curious, what is the highest stack that survived so far? I have heard that a human player stack of 8 has survived, but how about stacking robots? Any stacks higer than 8?

There were 8 stacks that survived at the UCF Regional, but I haven’t heard of any higher than that. None of the robots at UCF could “build” higher stacks, even if uncontested.
Team 624 (CRyptonite) BUILT and protected a stack of 6 at the Phoenix Regionals.
Does anyone know of a larger BUILT and surviving stack?
Heh no stacks survived at SLR during the elims rounds. Maybe a stack of 2. At Pittsburgh our partner stole a stack of 4 and almost released it, but dropped it on the way down and the stack toppled. Other than that stacks didnt mean much
At UCF we made a couple stacks of 5 (by putting one box on top of a human player stack) 2 times during practice, and once durning an actual match.
The highest robot - built stack at UTC was 6
The highest stack I’ve seen, and the most successful stacker at GLR was The Hot Team (67). Their robot stacked 6 high but eventually got knocked down seconds later. I was amazed that they could stack 6 so easily.
during the practice rounds my team 302 was partnered with the Hot Bot 67 and they sucessfully stacked 6 high. We were in the finals and won with them at GLR but stacking isnt that important as all the teams that built bots to do so thought.
ya team 710 was succesful (sorry i can spell) in stacking 5, with me at the arm controls, and they lasted the whole match. we would of gotten more but the orientation of the box on top prevent that . Sorry i dont have a picture of that my little bro forgot to bring the camera out to a couple of matches
We could stack 6, we did it in one match and stacked 5 in two matches at BAE. We started with a 4 stack human player made and added to it. We also stole a stack and brought it to our zone and added to it. WE have made our own but only had time to make 4 high. We protect until last seconds then dump and dash.
Stacks of 8 is all I have heard about so far…
In Canada, team 1114 (WHOOOOOO!! You guys rocked. Go Stackers. Go you. Go us.) made a stack of 6 in quarterfinals. They picked up a human player stack of 4, protected it and stacked two more. Unfortuneately they lost the first match. Winning the second wasn’t enough; they just came up 2 points short total
The highest stack i saw was at the GLR and it was 5 high and it lasted the whole match and the kicker is that it was a human player stack.
Who needs to build a stack?
At SVR, Team 115 MVRT, might not have stacked the highest stack but they in fact didn’t need to build a stack. MVRT 115 took a three stack from the opponent’s side, over the ramp, and placed it gently into the scoring zone. They did this not just during qualification matches but in the finals round too.
Thank you all for making SVR one of the best I have been to. In my opinion the level of GP was high and the level of commitment to FIRST was even higher.

I am not sure what was the highest stack at the Philly Regional. I heard that T/Rex stacked 6 in a practice round. I spent most of the time in the pits. In our last match we finally made a stack. Grabbed two bins on the fly from the top of the ramp. Picked up a third on the other side of the ramp. Unfortunately we could not unload them, but it was cool to see the robot finally make a stack in competition.
Check us out at nationals. We are a purple and yellow robot with a tubular frame and an interesting crab drive. If we have time we will give you a quick demo in the pits.
at our silicon valley regional, i think 5 or 6 was the highest
At midwest, the highest was an 8 stack. Our team made one with wildstang and it would have remained, but they didn’t cut the power early enough to anothe robot that went out of the field, we also kinda missed a block on another robot.
I don’t think you’ll see any stacks higher than 8… If you do then I gotta see a picture to believe it…
Simbot Sally at the Canadian Regionals. Take by one of the field reset team.
