I was laughing soo hard when I was watching this! 
The idea of the ad is very similar to the (sort of) old ad of FIRST about the NI CRio as the new FRC 2009 robot controller (“power! Power! POWER!”).

When did you play this commercial? In your school?
It was indeed. We played it on our school’s video morning announcements. However, the producers decided that it was too long, and cut it down to 17 seconds by removing the middle (without our consent). The result didn’t make much sense. But we did have about 50 new members show up the first day, so something must have worked!
