history of hurricanes

I’ve done a little research, and i found the last time two hurricanes hit florida in the same year. In 1950, two category 3 hurricanes, Hurricane Easy and Hurricane King, hit the coast of florida. The deadliest hurricane ever to hit was in texas in 1900 when it killed 8,000-12,000 people (1 of every 6 people were dead). the next deadliest hurricane ever recorded was in florida in 1928, it killed 1,836 people. Hurricane Andrew was the most expensive hurricane ever (26.5 billion dollars). Sorry for the history lesson, i just thought it was kind of interesting. Plus, hurricane charley is supposed to have been the 3rd costliest hurricane ever recorded, and Frances they say is supposed to be even more than that!!!
I’m sorry for all you people who got hit by Charley and are in the path to get hit by Frances. It’s like, just when you thought you got everything cleaned up, along comes another hurricane to mess it all up again.

Oh yeah, i was wondering what was going to happen to us if our pit gets destroyed. I mean, i know we’ll move to some other place, for the time being, but what about our equipment, our machines, and fluffy?!?!? :ahh:

eh don’t worry so much…just get ur self safe, things can be replaced but ppl can’t

I thought Fluffy was in Scott’s car. However, S.A.M. is sitting on the floor of the pit, as far as I know.

umm mr.higgins before the hurricane struck put s.a.m. up off the floor and turned off the power–so hopefully no damage to the roof else our lovely s.p.a.m. pit should be fine

and yes fluffy is safe

my pit buddy mary-- thanks for the info on hurricanes-- very interesting-- hurricanes and all natural disasters cost tons of money and what can i say florida is once again in the news about something
