I think I’m putting this thread in the right place, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
I’m in Pre-Calculus and Honors Physics this year, and they aren’t my strongest suit. I’m a person who learns by asking questions, and I can’t always get ahold of somebody at nights or on weekends to help me, and I’ve already gotten a couple of not very great grades on a few assignments because I don’t know how to do all of the problems.
If somebody would like to help me save my GPA by reccomding a site or place or person or something like that, I would appreciate it. I’ve tried some thngs before, but they didn’t work out for me. I’d be thankful to have some extra help. Thanks!
One excellent source in Indiana is Rose-Hulman’s homework hotline:
It is a free tutoring service for grades 6 - 12 and I’ve heard excellent things about them. The tutors are generally very talented science and engineering students.
On a random note, I’m a junior in Engineering at Northwestern University and have tutored before. I am more than happy to help you out if you ever need anything. Best of luck this year!
One thing that will help is to write down the best notes you can. After that, if you still are stuck, I called Ask Rose many times last year and they are so helpful on both math and science. Other than that, post your questions here, I’m pretty sure there are people on here who can help.
