Would you mind sharing the dimensions of the stages on that telescoping arm, is that outermost stage 2-2?

What kind of shooter wheels are those?

Base is 3" x 3"
First Stage is 2.5" x 2.5"
Second Stage is 2.0" x 2.0"
Third Stage is 1.5" x 1.5"

They were all face milled down from there to be square

Warning, they don’t fit the mostly black color scheme

Um… the black ones would have.

By far the best robot I’ve seen in person this year. It’s a shame we never got to play a match with you.

What do you mean face milled? Did they not have those sizes in stock?

I believe Alro and Speedy (and probably GM) carries those sizes.

Also, what wall, and how do you move them? Lead screw, winch, anti-gravity?

Huh cool. That’s what we’re using too. They don’t seem to expand much at all, even up around 6-7k RPM.

1/8" Wall

How many people have ever seem AL extrusion actually be square? We milled them down .005 at a time to get them to slide well.

They are sprung up by 2 17 lb constant force springs, and winched down by a 81:1 falcon 500.

Thanks, it was a long build season.

We estimate to be running at 50% of the robots capacity, I look forward to seeing it improve.

I really like the two position shooter hood. That’s really well done.

Thank you! Out of curiosity, when you say winched down, do you mean like the everybot, where it unwinds then winds back up with a ratchet? Or do you have some winch that can reverse with some sort of holding mechanism?

With alternating which cylinders fire we can achieve 4 positions

Its actually 4 position, hence the 50% capacity.

The hood is rock solid, keeping our shots quick and consistent.

The break mode on the falcons alone is enough to hold up the whole robot when disabled
