Yep. Thanks to yours truly, the Houston Webcast is up and running just in time for opening ceremonies. And the next time someone asks me to setup an ISDN modem, I’ll run shrieking in terror. Anywhos, for those that don’t know, head to the link below to get the feed and see my handiwork.

Congrats on setting up webcast Kevin. The stream I’m watching right now looks good. Unfortunately, you forgot to include the link to the stream itself in your previous message.

However, for those of you planning to watch the Lone Star and Southern California Regionals this weekend. Please feel free to visit the Woburn Robotics Website (link below) for links to the video streams.

The links to the official regional feeds are right on the main page. 16 other NASA-TV links from various sources are also available in our videos section. The link to the Southern California Regional is not currently active, it will start broadcasting at 9am (EST) tomorrow.

Anthony.

Anthony,

I’ve been meaning to email you about that - but the Feeds that you set up were EXCELLENT for the NASA Langley Regional last week. As soon as NASA tv picks up the Socal regional, I’ll be on them again (note: tv quality on a 56k dial up for the wmp feeds!)

But Woburn isn’t setting up feeds at all. As far as I can tell they’re just linking feeds from various other places on the web. And possibly infringing copyrights, but whatever.

Sorry to come off so mean, but I spent a heck of a long time weds. and thurs. getting that feed running, and it REALLY annoys me when someone sitting comfortably in his chair at home watching it answers my post by telling me I’ve gotten the link wrong. That link was perfectly fine. If you can’t be bothered to click twice to get to a video feed, the you are incredibly lazy.

And to Mr. Xu. Next time you want to plug your team’s website, do it in a seperate post, not in reply to the webcaster’s post telling him he’s got it all wrong. There’s no guarantee that your post won’t distract him enough to cause him to trip over the power cord.

Anyways, now I’m off to bed to get some sleep so I won’t be so cranky tomorrow.

Kevin,

I apologize - though Anthony is correct…you did not post a link. I was looking for it to try the feed you set up, can you please repost it? I’d hate to see your hard work go to waste, and I’d love to get off the single NASA feed that’s bogged down. Thanks!

Hmm… Sorry about that outburst then. Seems I can never get those links right… Lemme try this again. I was kinda in a hurry doing webcasting when I posted the first one…

Hey Kevin, I apologize for sounding like I wanted to take credit away from you. The links available on our website are freely available on the internet if one searched from them. I try to avoid making them seem like they belong to Team 188.

I’m very glad that you managed to set up the stream for Lone Star cuz itz providing great coverage right now (and also cuz I sure can’t do that!). Congratulations.

Anthony.

btw, thanks for the compliments Lora.
