how can i get 5 mb video exporting

hello
please i need your help … we have made the video with sony vegas program … but we don’t know how to get the exporting they required … i mean the how to export or convert the video to 5 mb and with 16:9 screen

The video format should be as follows:
 A 16:9 (“widescreen aspect ratio”) Flash, Quicktime, or Widows Media file
 Not more than 3 minutes long
 Most be able to be compressed to not more than 5 Mb for web

please answer rapidly

This probably isn’t a very helpful answer, but how we looked at it was like this:

“must be ABLE to be compressed to 5mb.”

As far as we were concerned, compressing it was their problem. They didn’t seem to mind

I don’t know how the judges will treat this at your regional though…

so i don’t have to compress it ?!!

Yes, you do have to compress it: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75698
I would recommend exporting the video as a lower quality.

ok … but how !!! do someone have a program ??

I haven’t used Sony Vegas ( I used Adobe Premiere for our video) but there should be options when you go to export the video that lets you adjust the video and audio quality.

Usually you have to set the Aspect Ratio when you first create the project. I set the ratio incorrectly when I first created 375’s video and was forced to create the entire video over again. I’m not sure if Vegas is different so make sure it is correct before you go very far. We set our video to 720x480 which is not strictly 16:9 but is NTSC format.

Hope that helps at all, let me know if I can help with anything else.
