I know that there are teams like 254 the cheesy poofs, 5940 BREAD, 324 Chips, just to name a few. I’m curious if anyone knows how much they actually eat the food they are named after?
I would be surprised if members on Bread never ate bread, bread is a very common food so I imagine there is quite a bit of dedication
Also, you missed some other Milstein 2025 food teams like CocoNuts and others that are more debatable
203 SOUPERBOTS answered the very important question of is ice cream a soup? I don’t remember their answer though. They do seem to be very true to their branding though and very much about soup at events at least.
Not that I am aware of, but it seems that anything is possible.
On Spyder we once had a spider living on the ceiling of our next-door meeting room… this was before my time so I’ve only been told his name- so I really forgot…
However somehow a kid end up accidentally eating that same spider… I really couldn’t tell you how, I’m just confused as you are…
It’s his initiation for the team
Once we knew 5940 was picking us on Friday night at champs I made sure to have pizza “cheesy bread” for dinner.
mod pizza has the best cheesy bread
yes
2714 BBQ, don’t know how much bbq they actually eat (don’t really pay attention lol) but they are a Texas team so it has to be a decent amount…
Happy to report that K9.0 Robotics hasn’t consumed any dogs.

@gerthworm, the people demand answers!
In 2019, BBQ brought BBQ for the volunteers at the Plano event, which was cool. Also during alliance selection, they bring BBQ for their fellow alliance member representatives.
BBQ Chips alliance?
I have brought a lot of citrus fruits to many team meetings and most lunches with the team have mandarins.
Our most common snack is oranges of various varieties.
I can only hope something doesn’t happen regarding bears in our future. Would be very awkward
If bears are considered that opens way to many doors to weird
“food” teams because a lot of teams are also eagles or other animals. (Citrus Circuits, Code Orange, and Slice(8738) = zest alliance?)
St. Joseph, Michigan school is the home of the Bears and their FRC 3620 team the Average Joes is certainly not average men so maybe they are actually a so-so cup of coffee.
