How do I increase a motor's power percentage in Labview please?

We need to increase the power of a 775 driving a 30:1 Versa box but our programming guru mentor is unavailable at the current time. What is the process to:

  1. Identify the motor
  2. Check current power percentage level being output
  3. Increase power percentage level
  4. Is this a motor controller or a motor issue?

I’m just a teacher, not an engineer. I run the logistics for my two teams. As posted in the title, we need to increase power percentage to get our flywheel axle to turn faster rpms. I just don’t know to do this. Sorry for stupid post. We compete next week. I’m a bit nervous that I am asking this question at this point in our season. Please don’t roast me on this…:open_mouth:

Thanks!

I don’t know the answer for LabVIEW, but I think this is a motor controller issue (assuming it’s not already been set to full power), and people who can answer you need to know which motor controller you are using

You should post all of your code here, and describe which motor you want to give more power to (by PWM port or CAN ID). Then we can try to help

We ended up just changing the gear ratio in the VersaPlanetary transmission instead and adding wider wheels (Colson 4") to get more “stick” onto the cargo ball. Everything is good now. See all at the Greenville, Texas FiT District Tournament next weekend.
