Big Yo, To everyone in cyberland.

Question of the day: How does your team handle/setup criteria for Human Player and Driver Tryouts?

Also, Good luck to everyone. I hope there aren’t too many last minute reconstructions out there because
judgement day, 2-22-00, is quickly approaching.

Well as watching our coach, Human Players are picked on how well they are, and how the follow directions.

We hold driver tryouts, and the tryoutees must follow directions and proform specific tasks while driving the drive train (if availiable) or remote control cars, etc.

There is alot more but it would take me forever to type

What James said is true, but drivers and human players are also chosen on a multitude of other factors. Personality is a big one, also coolness under pressure. You can have the best operator, only to find they choke up at the national…big problems. This crew also has to become like a family to each other, so how the different personalities mesh is a big issue. It is really a lot more than just ability for us…how about everyone else?
