during previous years I saw some teams that are making some mechanism that can spin around a fixed point kind of like a centry but im wondering how we can do this without the cables twisting aroud wathever axis is conected to the base
Most of the time you just limit the motion so it can’t spin a full rotation, but if you want/need full rotation you can buy slip rings.

you can also smartly use igus energy chain that is designed for turrets. iirc, howdython and cheesy poofs used something along those lines for 24. Igus likely has an example somewhere of what the rotational chaining is meant to look like.
