I’m not going to make fun of you* for how you pronounce it but I am very curious if you say it one of the two known ways:
“Lib” as in Libby
“Libe” as in Library
*If you pronounce it as “Libe” then I’d like to know if you pronounce “bin” as “bine” too.

I have literally never heard anybody pronounce it “Libe”. If you do, you are a maniac.

It is clearly pronounced “wih-pee-lihb”

Apologies, I think my edit to make the poll public just reset the votes.

I assume you mean Libya the North African country not Libia which doesn’t seem to be a word

Sorry, brain not firing on all 3.2 cylinders today. Has been updated to “Libby” as that is more obvious. Again, apologies for resetting the poll.
I wonder how the breakdown of votes would compare to how people pronounce “gif”
Hard G, like “Gift”
Soft G, like “Gym”

I so wanted this for my classroom upon release, but alas, I was not quick enough to snatch the elusive beast.

Or put milk in the cup before the coffee or tea… downright uncivilized.
