How do you take apart a power distribution panel

Hi, one of our members accidentally got a piece of metal in one of the WAGO ports. Our team is using the PDP found in the link. We tried taking it out in numerous methods but it was too deep in. The picture of the WAGO is below. Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe a way to take apart the PDP? Thank You.

The PDP: CTR Electronics

if the picture doesnt show this link should work: https://gm1.ggpht.com/I-DYKKQNKvBfEb1FIBSZxJhGAc2B544aqiVbRvC5jYk3Wogf94REguMD3nHQB4pNH456XXQlJszLL5sDGCtXgcO-L2d2iBzHlUFNHJUVYNqJycDS6Cdnbe9USV7U6KBEIY5HDWCel45JikUhQyctiBJMj3e2IcoBfx1OLyW-yRiJDVWwZOKB6Y3JMQ9Zo4sE6GFpiQjZoJAzw42MZ-ZonstqjH8xlmjY3-WKJlreN9_S_WfEwFlSSKuLdA4gXKr7IspA_smace3uvXx_VBesXJYzkit8Bal3mOI4wdeo2YssyAkQ6MCboLJ7TvmiPuYMiTxQeNB8cCqzX-6oSqzLUHFjJTv0U32LC9NgNUguscbxPJAj7J08EoPVHIDOnLld7qMzfdgsw_lYmaH1qrEvKJgtpQ6N_xw1xUulTWesfPybHsDDPstTwBykTPWVWajrpXY2zHAe2CWV5syodt1648IZTYHcB3ses9jq0zfD2YiKIfUlrdr4KpjUgMGNBRQO_5seyfehdmCH7jqcq9v4qAOilZpE08FNg7JFie3MY-UqUIk85XpYHkpV2VsaZ_CHK0pSoFUSm4Erxorf5WlVt3KfeH9H8RCuQquyS68tUs60_YpWStL-H_-OOl6A8HWpUzriJ-l4LcwYPAyVqw5Fz4tXMi0gzmQ9-5no3yAMcky9kuujwIr1-bGsK3ldVBcnI4tEdonHoTlSI7Ah87S5Sz8A_Fbg4QM=s0-l75-ft-l75-ft

The WAGO terminals on the PDP are not intended to be disassembled. I would try to hold open the terminal while shaking the PDP upside down to see if gravity cannot help to remove the metal. Failing that, call CTRE and see if they would have any suggestions or will take it in for a repair.
Just for giggles, where is your team located?

If the metal is iron/steel/other ferromagnetic, add a magnet to Al’s suggestion.

Based on team number, OP is in Orlando FL.

Thank you so much. We are Clockwork Mania. Sadly it is not magnetic.

I do not generally recommend blowing air into electronic devices to clear debris, but a vacuum can be very effective. It that does not work, I have wrapped tape around a cutoff Q-tip so that the sticky side is out and then inserted it to contact the debris.

We are trying the Q-Tip idea. I will let you know if it works… Thank you guys so much

The Q-tip idea sadly has not worked… We will now just use this PDP on our practice robot and use our new one for our actual robot. Thank you for helping.

OK, Try taking a narrow piece of tape sticky side out, and push it into the terminal with a jeweler’s screwdriver until it contacts the metal. Then withdraw the screwdriver and then the tape.
