Walked into the lab today to find 2 fails within 5 minutes of each other.
First there was our first failed print on the Markforged and it was a doozy. Looks like rats tried making a nest:
Then a student asked who milled a circle on last year’s build. The answer is whoever assembled that particular wheel and hub. The fact that we ran with a 6 Falcon drivetrain might also be a factor as well.
Hopefully these isolated incidents aren’t a harbinger of the season to come
