How many wood 2x4s have your snuck into your robot this year? We’re up to six, and haven’t started on the climber yet. Two inside the bottom ends of the box that hold it together and to the chassis, two blocks at the arm pivots, and two that mount the lower ends of the cylinders and gas springs. We have been hustling to get this much done, with just a few students and not much meeting time. Screwing in a block of wood sure goes quicker than fabricating metal parts, with our limited machining capability.
