Which of these is the correct interpretation of section 4.2 paragraph 4?
A [single] DRIVE TEAM may elect to switch one of the ROPES on their AIRSHIP for their own ROPE…
[Each] DRIVE TEAM may elect to switch one of the ROPES on their AIRSHIP for their own ROPE…
Do these statements have to be mutually exclusive?
I would assume [Each] because they did not specify drive team per alliance. I agree that it could be misread if you really try. It’s clear the intent is “Each”
My question is if there can be at most 3 custom ropes or at most 1 custom rope per alliance.
Q&A it, but a logical interpretation is that every team is allowed to provide their own rope.
And if one team constructed three ropes, there’s nothing preventing each of the alliance partners presenting identical ropes.
