How many tetras?

I couldnt find it in the manual, so I’ll ask. Is there a set number of tetras that can be used in the game, or we are to asume that the loading stations have unlimited acess to them? It did say that Tetras that are out of play will be used to supply the loading station, but it never said how much each station has. If it does say somewhere, abuse me as much as possible for my bad reading skills.

From 3.3:

“Forty Tetras of each color will be available for each match. Two special Vision Tetras of each color will also be used in the match.”

I think it said totoal is 40 for each side im not sure how that is split between the auto load and the human player station.

One Question: Couldn’t you just call up your dad?

Well, already said, there’s 40ea color… and yeah, if they are outside the field, they will be put back into the loading stations for use… so it’s *sorta * “unlimited” provided there’s tetras left to keep putting in the load station.

But… what about this question - will the loading stations try to be maintained such that there’s roughly equal tetras at each one… or let’s say I use up all the auto side tetras, and have 15 on the HP side… will they split them, or do you now just have to get them from the HP side?

I’m assuming the field attendants won’t be running back and forth to maintain equal counts on each side…

there are 11 per team for manual loading and 2 vision and 2 hanging so per alliance there are 37 of their colored tetras. the auto maited loading im still not sure how many that is but it is only a few and i dont think its unlimited

Where did you find this information of 11 per team? The manual states 40 tetras of each color…
I believe that would include the two of each vision tetras and the two hanging (colored) tetras at the start of the game. It says that if those hanging ones are not displaced in auto, they will be removed from the field when it’s safe… But then I’m assuming they are put into play like normal (it doesn’t clearly state that though, I don’t think)… If you displace it during auto, it stays in play just like normal.

I would think they would split the 36 tetras per alliance (not on the field already) between the HP and auto load zones… seems logical to me…

Why waste cell phone minutes? :stuck_out_tongue: Hes in NH right now, Im still in Va.

Thanks, that should help us, although Im not sure if well even end up using all 40.

I’ll save you the cell phone minutes (since I have to pay for them)

40 Tetras of each color. About half on the manual loading station side, about half on the automated loading station side. The intent is to keep both sides of the field in a state of “constant supply” so neither the human players hands nor the automated loading stations are ever empty. The field attendants will attempt to keep an appriximately even distribution of tetras between the two side of the field. Based on the initial esitmates, neither side should ever run out of tetras during the course of a match. If necessary, the field attendants may move some from one side to the other if one side is becomming heavily depleted.

That’s great! I wouldn’t have expected or assumed that, but that’s good to know… Thanks!
