How to search for Higher Educational Institutes on Moogle?
Education plays an important role in the progress of an individual’s mind and country.
Do you think any country will ever look back if the people are fully educated, have some income to support their family, are aware of the happening in the world, and contribute to the country’s development? That country will definitely reach Heights instead of looking back.
Through Moogle we can think of youngster’s betterment in the field of Higher education. On the home page of Moogle, we have an option of ‘Education’ and ‘Higher education’. By clicking on either of these, a same page is opened up in a separate window. Moogle specifically gives you the information about higher educational institutes.
By clicking on ‘All courses’ and ‘All colleges’ option on the ‘Moogle Education’ page, it will show you all the courses and all colleges it contains in its database.
There are two ways by which you can search for educational institutes.
• Search by College
• Search by Course
Search by College
• Select ‘Search by College’.
• Select country from the list given below it let’s say you select ‘India’.
• Then select state and city from the other two lists or either leave it as it is.
• Enter the name of the institute/college in the provided textbox for example ‘DAVIET’.
• Click ‘Search’.
• If you commit any spelling mistake in it, it will show the related results matching to the keywords you entered.
• Then by clicking on the institute name, you can check for all the information about that institute.
• By opening the details about the institute you selected, you can also click on the links inside it to know about the courses offered by that specific college.
Search by Course
• Click on ‘Search by Course’.
• You can either select it from ‘Moogle Education’ page or shift from that page only where you’ve searched by college.
• When you select ‘Select by Course’, you are provided with two options,
To select stream and to select level.
• For example: You select stream as ‘Science’ and level as ‘Bachelor’ or leave it as such.
• Then select country, state and city or leave it to any state and any city. Until and unless you select any state, you cannot select city.
• Write the name of any course example: ‘BBA’.
• Click ‘Search’. All information about the course you wrote will be shown along with the institute which offers that course and region in which it exists.
• On the left hand side, information related to your search is also provided.
• Add a new college
From the page of Moogle Education, on the top right corner, there is an option for ‘Add New College’. With this option, you can add your own college also. If you are already logged in and then click to ‘Education’ option, you’ll find this option there otherwise first click to ‘Education’ from Moogle home page, then login.
• Click on ‘Add New College’, a login screen will appear where you enter your username and password to login.
• A dashboard will come after you login.
• From the top left corner on the dashboard, click on ‘Add College’ option.
• Fill the information about the college you want to add.
• From the first three lists, select that country, state and city where the college is there or write in the textboxes respectively, for example: you chose India, Punjab and Ludhiana respectively.
• In the fourth textbox, write the name of the college you want to add let’s say ‘ABC Memorial College’.
• Then write the website of the college for example: ‘www.abc.nic.in’.
• Mention the email id for that particular institute you entered for example: ‘[email protected]’.
• Then enter the mobile number of the person you want to be contacted whenever your college is searched say 9896783456
• Then enter the landline number of the institute example: 01615023456.
• Enter Fax number such as 1234.
• Enter Pin number for example: 121001.
• Then mention the proper address of the institute, for example: ‘34- Green Avenue, Ludhiana’.
• Then in the last textbox, write about your college, its description such as ‘ABC has the best infrastructure in whole city with lush green parks. It has a highly qualified faculty…’ and so on.
• Click ‘Save’. Your entry will be saved after confirmation or click ‘Back’ or ‘Add college’ on the top right side if you are not sure about all the details of the college and want to enter again.
