HS Industrial Technology Teaching Position - Missouri, KC Area

Raymore Peculiar High School has a brand new Industrial Technology program starting next year (2020-2021 school year), for which we are seeking a great teacher. This will be in cooperation with Metropolitan Community College where part of the instruction comes virtually from them. The class will share our existing FRC team space where we will be moving in new shop fabrication equipment (big CNC machines!)

This position comes with either a FRC Head Coach or Assistant Coach position and stipend, and it’s our hope that this individual will be active with the students and mentors of our FRC team. No previous FRC experience necessary.

In addition, with the updated Missouri laws, this position doesn’t require a teaching license if other educational and trade experience requirements are met.

Just hoping to bring attention to this post again. It’s been a while and a lot has happened since February, but the position is still open. Would be great for an enthusiastic shop teacher or a retired machinist even.
