Does your team want to check out Elastic Dashboard as an alternative to shuffleboard? Already using it and want to become a master?
Come on down to the Workshop hosted by @Gold87 later today.

I will update the time and room when we have the specifics.

The workshop will be in room 5151 at 4pm.

The Hudson Valley Regional Planning Committee would appreciate feedback from anyone who attended – teams, mentors, volunteers, spectators. We want to know what worked well and what we need to continue to work to improve. Thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts

Thank you to everyone on the RPC for bringing back the Hudson Valley Regional and a thank you to all the volunteers who make it look so easy! I had a great time and got a chance to see a large number of the teams this past weekend and will see many of them again at Tech Valley or New York City later this season!

Congratulations to the winners, finalists, and all the award winners, especially our VC Roberta Abrams!

Thank you all!

This was my first time at HVR and I loved the event and venue. So much space to work with!

My one complaint as a volunteer is not enough free coffee lol

I was so delighted to be back at Hudson after five years away (I was a freshman in high school the last time we held the event!). It was awesome to see everyone from NY that I don’t usually run into until week 4 or 6, and even better to see just how excited everyone was to be back.
I had a really positive experience as a field resetter and was happy with how the field kept on schedule - felt like everyone fieldside, especially the KVs at the scoring table, were managing the flow around the field really really well, even with lots of pauses for FMS issues, question box talkings-to, and starting configuration troubles.
Lots of space in the pits, especially in the aisles. Teams and robots could move through the pits a lot more smoothly than at some other NY events.
I’m not sure if the location of the quiet room was advertised, but I only found out where it was when I was looking for the volunteer lounge. I know that’s something FIRST asks for in the event feedback questionnaire, so I thought I’d bring it up.

I’m so excited to have this event back, and I hope every team in attendance had a blast.

Big thanks to those on the planning committee who’ve pushed to bring this event back over the last few years and for getting it across the line.

After a few days of editing, here are the Hudson Valley Photos that came from my camera.
It was a blast to attend the event and catch up with some old faces. Good luck to everyone with more competitions these next few weeks.

A little late to the party here, but finally got into my CD account again.

Congrats to all of the award winners and teams for a great event! Thank you to all of the volunteers and the planning committee for pulling off a successful and smooth event. For my first HVR, it was a blast! Great to be back in NY for a couple of events this year. Looking forward to TVR this weekend!

Also shout out to the amazingly talented announcing crew; Joe, Parker, Jun, and Chris! Lots of great voices in NY
