I’ve created a custom GPT (AI model) specifically to help with everything related to the FRC 2025 REEFSCAPE Game Manual. Whether you’re stuck on a rule, need strategy advice, or think there might be issues in the manual, this GPT is here to help!
Here’s how it can assist:
Answering any questions about rules, scoring, gameplay, or strategy.
Clarifying confusing sections of the manual so nothing is left uncertain.
Offering ideas for strategies and robot design tailored to this season’s challenges.
Identifying potential problems or inconsistencies in the manual.
Important: If you notice any issues with the GPT’s answers or have concerns about its accuracy, please let me know. Your feedback is critical to make it even better!
Don’t hesitate to share anything on your mind—whether it’s a small question, a big concern, or feedback about the GPT itself. Drop your questions or comments below, and let’s get ready to dominate REEFSCAPE 2025!
Funny how I was thinking about how useful something like this would be earlier today, and then I found this! Seems pretty useful for quick questions and finding things with a more fuzzy-search.
I asked it “can you show how much everything is worth in a table?” and it created the following table. It seems it is struggling with RP’s but otherwise looks pretty good:
Here is a table summarizing the point values for various tasks in the REEFSCAPE game:

Each of these tasks contributes to the overall score of the alliance, with specific points awarded based on when and how they are accomplished.
I asked it to list all the rules with rule numbers, titles, and violation consequences. It did pretty well, but it missed several rules. (And it only gave the game rules, but that’s basically what i was looking for anyway)
It worked for us for a lot of things, and then promptly hallucinated a fake rule with a fake rule number citation! (was funny to watch a teammate try and explain themselves in front of everyone)
It did this for me (yesterday) on several rules. It said you would get penalized for not clearing the algae from the processor, and it’s a major foul to score your opponents algae. I think it’s been reading CD and just wants to troll. LOL
I will say it was really useful for trimming the rules into bite sized pieces. Just make sure you check them when it’s done.
Hello! Thanks for this tool, one error I noticed is it’s saying there is a lot more algae than in reality. My question was: how many algae are available total
