Hello Chief Delphi,

I am in IB HL Math at my school and I have to do an IA (Independent Investigation). I chose to do my IA about robotics and am currently attempting to find the correlation between the amount of funding a team receives and the amount of success that they will have in a season. I know that there are many ways to categorize success but for my purpose success will be how high they rank and how far they make it in eliminations (essentially district points minus the awards).

I would greatly appreciate it if you would take the time out of your busy build season schedules to take my survey. Its only 9 questions so it shouldn’t take too long. If you have any questions, let me know.

I haven’t answered because I’m not with a team this year, but it might be helpful to clarify on the “budget” question that this should/should not include an estimated value of in-kind donation of parts and services. Also, a question about whether the build facility and liability insurance are being paid for out of the budget, or provided at little/no cost by a school or other sponsor.

Thanks for the suggestions. This is my first survey I’ve ever made so I apologize for the crudeness of it. I edited it to fit your suggestions but only have a 10 question limit (for the free version of survey monkey) so I had to finagle it a bit.
