I’m brand new to the whole 3D animation program. I have Autodesk 3DS Max Design and was wondering how you take the skin design they give you and put it on the iiko. Can any one help me?
If you just open the file that autodesk gave you.
If you open the material editor and look for a multi/sub-object.
material 1 should match up to be the body and the U1(body) jpeg that autodesk
gave us
material 2 should be U2 jpeg(face).
relink the jpegs
the iiko should be textured at that point in time.
if you wanted to change any of the colors or anything just edit the jpegs in photoshop/paint or something similar.
Push “M” on the keyboard. This brings up the material editor.
Switch to compact mode (In the settings bar on top)
Click on hte button that says “Arch and Design”
Double click on Standard.
Click on the little box next to the abmient and diffuse color boxes.
Choose “Bitmap” and upload the file.
Drag it onto the Iiko model. In order to put it on him, you will have to right-click on the screen and select “unfreeze all”.
Hope that helps!
You can also take the images that are in the “sceneassets/images” folder provided with the iiko files and drag them into your “documents/3dsmax/sceneassets/images” folder.
