Anyone else having trouble sleeping? I’ve been trying to catch up but it’s impossible, all I can think about is 220 teams, 220 robots, 48 Robots in the finals, the weather in Florida, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck!!! There is no better place then Disney to have this national competition, there is no place in the world where more dreams come true and magic comes to life then Disney. I get more and more excited by the minute!! It’s gonna be a long weekend, everyone get your sleep

Rest easy… The final numbers are in and there are only 208 teams.
Sleep tight!

Good call, it’s 4:03am and I haven’t slept yet. Too much to get ready. I’m supposed to be at the airport in about 2 hours…
I wanna sleep bad. Oh well, it’s a long trip, maybe I’ll get some time on the way over. Maybe.

Obviously you are missing the entire point. The REAL reason for the FIRST Robotics Competition is to conduct a mass experiment on the effects of sleep deprevation without that pesky government oversight that you normally need with human test subjects. In fact, FIRST actually stands for ‘For Immediate Reduction in Sleep Tonight’.
