Improv Teambuilding Workshop in Houston!

Hello everyone! I am pleased to announce that Team 2485 will be running our improv teambuilding workshop, The Secret to a Better Robot, at the Houston Championships this year!

This is an edited version of the workshop Team 2485 has run for 10 FRC teams in 3 counties in just the past year. You can learn more by visiting, or by watching this video.

From the conference description,

Discover the secret of team work and Coopertition through this proven, exciting and impactful improv-based team-building workshop. Attendees will laugh while learning valuable collaboration skills to share with their teams. Led by experienced FIRSTers with a background in improvisational comedy and successfully presented to teams throughout Southern California, The Secret to a Better Robot: Team Building in FIRST Robotics will bring laughter, wisdom and take-home methods for becoming a more cohesive, successful FIRST Robotics Competition team. The first of its kind and based on the teachings of Stanford Professor Dan M. The conference will be 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Thursday in conference room 370 E/F on April 20th. Don’t miss it!

This looks to be a wonderful and original conference. Liam’s also a great teacher. I’d encourage anyone looking for an informative way to spend their lunch break to attend.
