Increase Power

So we are using a winch to lift our robot up and we have come to find that the sim motor we are using isn’t delivering enough power to lift the robot. Are there ways we can increase torque or power to aid in lifting the robot?

Are you using any kind of gear reduction between the winch and motor? A CIM motor has more than enough power to lift a robot in a few seconds with the proper mechanism. What is the diameter of your winch?

gearing it properly and the CIM motor will work fine, look into versa-planitaries the mount to a cim and give you many different gears reductions to play with

Some ideas: Constant Force springs, more motors.
