Indexing

So…it seems like the idea of the full with intake that we’ve been designing is what we are going with. How would you try to index your balls from the intake into the robot.

We want to center all the balls in the robot without using a hopper in the front of the robot. The hopper would take up 7 inches in the front of the robot that we don’t want.

I would keep this conversation in the topic you already started about this same thing. “Indexing” falls in the category of “steps in between the intake and the shooter” that you mentioned here:

Is indexing and serializing the same thing?

Some would argue that serializing the balls (putting them in an orderly line) is key to being able to index them (putting them together and ready to shoot), but this is getting into the deep weeds of semantics.
