Infinite Recharge Practice Field in Tampa, FL + Feb 22 Scrimmage

Greetings from Tampa, FL!

We wanted to let folks know about our practice field at AMRoC Fab Lab in Tampa. Thanks to Middleton High School’s FRC team 1369 Minotaur , we’ve got sturdy mock-ups of the generator switch, power port, loading bay and trench & control panel, all on a full size field with perimeter and drivers stations, and welcome teams to schedule practice time on the field throughout the season. Wednesday afternoons are free open build days, and other days can be scheduled as well - Scheduling and facilities use policies and info is at Student Robotics Teams | AMRoC

We’re also holding a scrimmage/practice day on Feb. 22, from 10am to 6pm, hosted by our in-house team FRC 5276 Edgar Allan Ohms. Register to participate at https://amroctampabay.com/youth-robotics/ - Concessions will be available and benefit AMRoC FIRST teams.

That reminds me I need to call and find out the status of the cages being installed over our sprinkler heads.

This is super funny, because I was thinking that the whole time the game elements were being installed, wincing as they neared the sprinklers! Ours are on order.

We found out the the lever to drain the sprinkler system is just above and to the right of out power port setup. We stopped throwing balls after that.

Was it ever hit?

No, one of our mentors just took of the handle
