Hello everybody,
I’d like to know why I get insane packet loss while I’m connected to the robot.
They are normal for a while and then, they jump up to 90% for about 2-3 seconds. Even when the robot is in “Disabled” state.
Most of the times (but not always) there was an error.
Here is a copy of my program (I’ve planned to make it cleaner) and one log file (I can provide more if needed).
Thanks
Usually this symptom is indicative of another program trying to access the internet periodically to check for updates. I believe Autodesk is notorious for this.
I read about this but I don’t have any Autodesk software installed. I’ll check about Windows Updates when I’ll have time.
Getting the exact same thing here, every 15 seconds like clockwork the packet loss goes through the roof. This is using two different Windows 10 laptops with windows update service disabled.
If you find any leads on this please follow up here.
We have come to the conclusion that this happens when our wifi card scans for new networks. Have you tried connecting to your robot with an ethernet cable and testing to see if the issue still occurs?
