Can you hold up to the competition though? I’ve seen some incredible announcers, and they always have a wild personality out there
Thanks Jared for posting all this. I’ll tag in and say that I’m looking for the following for the Ventura County Regional:
Key Roles:
- 1 FTAA
- 3 Robot Inspectors
- 1 additional Emcee/GA as relief
- Note that all other key roles are still available for those who wish to shadow
Other Role Needs
- Judges
- Load-In/Out Crew
- Pit Admin
- Safety Attendants
- Practice Field Attendants
- Queuers
- Field Resetters
It is a bit of a long drive for this CSA/FTAA. Best of luck!
+1 for OC
When I did photography for CNY I shared the photos from my google drive over to our school/event marketing person who shared them on Facebook.
For LI, after sharing them to the event coordinators which were posted around.
Last year with NYC, similarly to LI shared it around with NYC staff to share around.
For all 3 events I also shared the links around to anyone wanting them and posted them on CD.
(I chose google drive just because my school email doesn’t have a storage limit so it’s simple.)
Be careful with that, My uni used to have “emails forever!” and “Unlimited Gdrive Storage!” just a couple years ago, and now alumni have all their emails deleted after a year of being away from campus and the gdrive is maxed at 250gb (and also deleted at the same time as the email.)
Paying the $50/year for the Flickr account is worth it imo for this. I think 3847 has had success with Smugmug, not sure how that works but its also a option to consider.
The only requirement is making sure I change my password once a year and I don’t worry about losing files or logins.
