I guess Jay stopped working on it, so it’s only me at this point.
And me
It would be amazing (although I’m sure extremely difficult) if everyone could have their own team’s robots as a starter in some way. If you have rules about the picture format, I’m sure it’s doable, just difficult to make unique and balanced, but even just the picture would be fun, in my opinion.
Looks awesome though regardless.
This is really cool! I look forward to the day of playing a full Pokemon-FRC game. I’m interested in helping alpha test.
What is this made in?
People are still working on this? I didn’t even know.
RPG Maker VX Ace.
I have not been working on it but I am here if needed
No, I am still working on it. Just taking a break from college but, will resume working on it soon.
Just learned about that project… WOW! I love it! You guys deserve a Chairman/Engineering/Champion or anything else award!
This is really cool! I’m not a huge fan of Pokemon but I would play this. I’d guess you include a brief tutorial, but you may want to have a non-pokemon player try the game to see if it needs a lot of explaining or not. Also, it would be a lot of work, but if you released an update every year to include that year’s robots that would be really cool. I feel like this could be used as a good recruiting tool as well, have a computer set up at an event and let each kid play for a short time then stop them and tell them where they can get the game for themselves. This may cause them to want to see the robots they are gaming with in action and thus go to competitions and join the local team.
This sounds amazing. That would be an awesome thing to be a part of.
