Introducing FRC Search! A handy chrome extension that uses both The Blue Alliance and Statbotics to provide information on a team over time and in a specific year! Find out the regionals a team has competed at and what regionals they won. Find out their rookie year, nickname, state, etc. Also find out a team’s EPA in a specific year, their EPA over time as well and their EPA rank world wide with handy graphs! Install it right here.

This is awesome, I absolutely love it!

Just ran it through a couple of tests and found a couple of things:

  • If you double click the TBA or Statbotics button, it will load the info twice (for statbotics it only loads the webpage links twice, the data only loads once
  • I dont know why, but for specifically 5985 2018, it has the rankings weirdly incorrect (I cant seem to replicate it for other teams and years, will keep trying tho)
  • would also love a press enter to search, and load both sets of data, but dunno how viable that is

Edit: somehow managed to fat finger tab and enter and posted it unfinished

Edit 2: It appears that the weird rankings are isolated to Australian teams in 2018? But also 1690 in 2018 have undefined events.

This is great! I think it will be really useful for teams to scout prior to competitions.

Hi! The ranking problems stemmed from some offseason events not ranking teams, but I just published v0.1.2 which will fix that problem. Thanks!
