Cone mech looks interesting, care to explain how it works?
We use a large IGUS track with 3D printed plugs for grabbing. With dual actuation we can open and close the jaws. We are able to grab both inside the cone and outside the cone and of course outside for cubes. Both the IGUS track and carriages have proven to be extremely reliable.
We replaced the standard IGUS plates with Carbon Fiber plates custom made and manufactured on a WAZER.
Very nice design.
