What are the system requirements for inventor 2011 from the KOP?
My computer is currently running windows xp home media edition sp3. Would this work, or will I have to upgrade to something like xp pro?
It will theoretically run down to windows 2000, but the important part is what hardware you are running, not just your operating system.
Its a dell about 5 years old. SATA hard drive with 70gb free. 1gb ram. Standard stuff.

You might be able to get away with an older OS, I haven’t tried it…
However, even if you can get it to run, that 1gb of ram is really going to choke your computer. You will be able to open the KOP parts, but don’t expect to make any complex assemblies with them.
Please let me know if I can help at all with the set-up process, I’ve walked a lot of people through it. Just PM me
Good Luck
Thanks for the response. I might as well try to see if it will work. I can always upgrade my ram, and i just want to see what the program looks like before i really commit to anything major using the program.
I sent you a PM regarding how to set it up
Can anyone help me install it?
I got your PM and sent you a response via e-mail. Hope I can be of help!
The 1GB of RAM isn’t going to work well. See if you can stick 2 or 3 GB in there.
