I’ve looked all over the place, and I can’t find the fabled “Virtual Kit of Parts” that FIRST prommised for Inventor. I’d be really interested in using it, but I just flat out can’t find it. Anyone know where it is, or wanna send me a copy?
I’ve also not seen much in the way of tutorials for Inventor 5. I’ve scoured the internet and not found much in the way of useful free stuff. I’d like to thank 191, the X-Cats, though, for the pully tutorial on the FIRST website. Their tutorial DID give me the basic grounding and introduction I needed, and I’ve been playing around with the program pretty successfully ever since. I even did a little dance when I figured out how to assemble pieces in more than one plane.
So long message short:
**Inventor- Kit of Parts: ** Have you seen it? Where’s it hiding? Who do I bug if no one can find it?
**Inventor- Tutorials: ** Does anyone know any good Inventor tutorial places? If not, can someone recomend some good books to purchase?
**Inventor- Resource: ** Anyone out there pretty confident in their skills with Inventor and want to send me their IM name? It’d be great to have someone I can ask for help when I get stuck (which will happen more often than I’d like, so be warned). It’s a somewhat difficult program to be entirely self-taught.

I really have to learn this stuff…it makes integration so much less painful.
Thanks for your help, all!
