Inventor Beta Testers Wanted!

**Hey FIRST Robotics student interested in CAD. **The Autodesk Summer Intern Team is currently working on a new project, BXD Aftermath. A game designed to make learning CAD fun and engaging. But, we need your help! The beta site is up and running, but testers are needed. There is only a limited amount of space, so sign up now to help us by trying out the gamefied tutorials, earning points, and giving us feedback.

Go to the Beta Portal to create an account and get started.

All signed up!

I do already know Inventor though, but I will do my best to put myself in my shoes 2 years ago.

Seems like a fun way to learn CAD.

I signed up as well, hopefully I can help!

Thanks you two :]

Go to the link on the top left of the Beta Portal titled “BXD Aftermath Beta Challenges”. Please complete those and give us some feedback on the forum.

Thanks again for the help!

I’ve also signed super excited so see what its all about and possibly become the best cadder EVER!

Is this supposed to be like a tutorial set? Is there a point for experienced CADers to sign up?
(To clarify: experienced << expert. Not really close.)

Signed up!
I was looking for a way to learn CAD for next season and this seems perfect:)

You will be become the best CAD-er ever!

This is a tutorial set. Yes there is a point because we have some more advance levels coming. But it depends, what do you have experience modeling in?

Inventor. There are some aspects of the software I’m not very familiar with, like “weldment” or “cable and harness”, and with regular parts I’m still not as good as I would wish. If there are going to be advanced topics I’ll try it out.
Worst case scenario, if it doesn’t help me, I can always blame you :stuck_out_tongue: (I wouldn’t though…)

EDIT to avoid double posting: hoe do you indicate wanting to test BXD Aftermath?

If there are still things that you want to learn better the tutorials get pretty detailed, so that could help you. Also in in this tutorial series there is two different programs there we are teaching. Fusion 360 and Inventor. So you might want to check out Fusion 360.

However, during beta testing right now, we need students (regardless of Inventor experience) to try them out and then complete a couple short surveys which will help us improve the site. Here is the link to sign up: http://autode.sk/19OsZh9

Check out my feedback @ here

Thanks for the feedback. All of it has been responded to.

Let me know if there are any other questions.

Sorry to bump this thread, is this still available to do though?
