Just a question, I think that I messed up a setting but maybe not because it never worked. When I draw something in sketch mode and go to dimension wherever i place it it cuts the drawing off to the right of it. I’m confused. I am going to re-install once i get the program back from a friend but that might be a while. Anything helps. Sean :yikes:
You mean, all lines, shapes, whatever you had drawn to the right of where you placed the dimension simply disappear when you place the dimension. I’m not quite sure what you are saying. If I am wrong, please clarify.
Yes you are right it does not render anything, I talked to one of my friends and he said that also happened to one of his computers and he found no way of fixing it.
Maybe you could add a visual so that we would further know what you were talking about.
Ya this happened to my inventor to, I can’t find a solution.
I made a thread about this a while ago:http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31928
If anyone knows of a solution please give.
I’m still guessing that it is either a graphics card, or graphics card driver incompatibility issue.
No it can’t be that, because I used inventor for two or more months before this happened. I never changed my graphics card.
Yea I have no idea what is going on i un-installed and re-loaded and it still does the same thing. Inventor 6 worked and now 7 does this so i have a few choices, go back to 6, or go to 8 or 9. The only problem with going up is that when i try to bring it from my computer is that it might not work with version 6 that is at school. This is why i am leaning with just going back to 6. thanks for all of the help. One of my mentors said it might be memory or harddrive space but with 1 gig of memory and 40 of harddrive space i don’t think so. oh and i went to the autodesk and is says that the graphics card and driver will work so that eliminates that.

Are you running 98 SE like this suggests.
