Fun Fact: No host team has ever one to my knowledge.

It’d be more enlightening if I could find all the final team lists to note how many world champions attended each IRI, but only two teams have won the FRC world championship and IRI in the same year: 469 (2003), 71 (2004).

Fun Fact: Every winning alliance at IRI has had a team from Michigan, except in 2004 when 71 won both the world championship and IRI.
There have also been three years where the entire winning alliance was from Michigan (2000, 2002, 2003).
