I have only been to the SharingFIRST website at MIT once. I kind of feel it’s an insult to the Delphi people who have put so much effort into the Delphi forum. And they’ve created such a large and wonderful community. Why dilute it. When I went to the MIT site is seemed kind of unorganized. And worst yet if you’re not a member you can’t see any postings!

However I know there are lot’s of folks using it. And I’m sure they’re comments and info is great stuff. In fairness to them could someone with an account post the info I just posted regarding NASA TV covering the KSC Regional at the MIT site?

Thanks

While I understand some of your points, and I agree that it would be good to allow non-members to at least ‘see’ what is going on…I would not be as negative about other teams or groups putting up web sites to try and make it better for ALL of us.

I see the Delphi site, and the Chat site, and the SHARINGFIRST site as places being hosted by others to try and make things BETTER for the group as a whole.

Sure, all of them might miss the mark from time to time…but I don’t see any of them as being disrespectful of the other…but rather as trying to do something for all of us.

A little competition is healthy in life as well…heck, the USFirst event is intself a competition…but the idea is to compete for the sake of betting things…not to the death of the opponent.

Yes Quentin I agree with you. Anyone who takes the time to better communicate the message of FIRST or creates a community among FIRST fans should be commended. And whoever is responsible for the MIT site I sincerely thank them. I just wanted to stir up a little action and see if someone would defend them. I don’t hear much about that site and really just wanted to get the info about KSC being on TV to everyone. No harm done I hope. When I have a little more time I’ll get an account over there and check it out.

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE UP MY CHALLENGE AND POST THE INFO ON THE MIT SITE!
