I know many competitive games/sports have large discussion groups on Facebook with thousands of members that make it easy for casual discussion. Has FRC ever had this? It would allow for more casual FRC discussion while a lot of the formal stuff stays on CD.
There is a FIRST Robotics Network Facebook group, which can be found here. However, for casual discussion, as you mentioned, there is also the FRC Discord Server or the FRC Telegram Channel, both of which have people on at all hours of the day talking to each other. PM me if you want to join
