Is it allowed to use a compressor outside the robot during an event?

No, it is not legal to use a compressor other than the one on the robot as per rule R806.
R806: Compressed air from ROBOT compressor only. Throughout an event, compressed air on the ROBOT must be provided by its 1 onboard compressor only.
The blue box below the rule specifies that the compressor can change/be substituted, but does not alter the rule text of requiring the the air must come from the onboard compressor.

There are no FIRST rules against using a compressor outside a robot during an event.
As already mentioned, it is not legal to use that compressor for storing compressed air to be used by your robot.

Filling up the robot pneumatics with an outside compressor is not legal. Using a shop compressor as a source for pneumatic tools isn’t strictly disallowed but will depend on the restrictions for your given event. Usually in Israel they are allowed, but if there is a problem with blowing fuses in the pits the event staff may ask you to unplug it.
