Is Pheonix Pro worth its price?

Hello, I am currently working on our team’s 2024 chassis, and I heard a lot of teams around me saying that using Pheonix Pro will improve the performance of the motors. But to me, the introduction of Pheonix Pro on the official website really appears to be like renaming all the APIs to make them sound cooler, especially after Pheonix6 was released. So does anyone who uses Pheonix Pro have some opinions on it? Is it worth its price or it is just a waste of money?

Specifically, Phoenix Pro can unlock the Field Oriented Control (FOC) feature of Falcon 500 motors, which increases the power output from the motors through fancy science-y things. Whether or not that is worth it for your team is up to your engineering evaluation, but I will say it is unlikely to be a feature that will affect your ability to play the game at a basic level.

To add on to this, we have a page in our documentation listing some of the new features unlocked by Phoenix Pro and a feature breakdown with the free Phoenix 6 API: New to Phoenix. This list of Phoenix Pro features will continue to expand in the future.
