Is there a way to change how replies are organized?

I’m pretty new to Chief Delphi, so I was wondering if there was a way to reorganize messages so they are more similar to the way reddit organizes messages. In my opinion it’s difficult to navigate through threads with many different replies and responses to other people’s messages.

I don’t believe there is. It’s always newest reply at the bottom. Might be a Discourse plugin, though.

That said, if someone correctly pointed their reply to someone else, you can read the post they’re replying to right there.

(Obligatory “Old CD was better” gripe–the site previously used VBulletin, which also allowed “threaded” and “hybrid” views. I never used either one, myself…)

When there are replies to replies it can get a big confusing, and sometimes it’s mildly annoying to scroll through replies I’ve already read. It’s not something that significantly affects affects me, it’s more of a quality of life thing. I’ll look into Discourse plugins.

Thanks!

Also if you are on desktop you can click on the bottom of a post to see all the replies and click the arrow to jump down to that post and then click the replied to button to see the original post and then click the arrow to jump back which is a couple more steps but the closest you can get just with base discourse
