Is USFIRST.org dead, or are the releasing the divisions!!!!!!!!!

I am getting this Error, anybody else?

An error has occurred. Please verify that your web.config is correct and that you have granted sufficient database permissions. Below is the captured exception:
System.Exception: An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) at Ektron.Cms.Controls.ContentBlock.Fill() at Ektron.Cms.Controls.ContentBlock.RenderContents(HtmlTextWriter writer)

I’m getting it too, in both Safari and Firefox.

Yup, I can confirm this. But also notice that the videos on the main page have been updated, or the images at least. I hope its the divisions because it says its a database error.

Yeah I noticed that too. :stuck_out_tongue:

And yeah, I’m getting the error aswell.

I got a FIRST email saying 3:00 AM eastern time the divisions will be released.

I am really hoping that you are serious:ahh:

Sweet, looks like ill be up for a few more hours and then off to school…maybe I should finish this research paper first:rolleyes:

Thanks for the update Adam.

HOLY #@#@#%
NICEEEEE

ACTULLY ITS IN A HOUR
cant wait…

If you look at the FIRST Championship link through the “what events and teams are in my area?” for FRC in Georgia, you get this error message:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. I suspect the database update process has shutdown access to the underprivileged: us!

nothing here yet.

Sorry all, that was my attempt at humor…

the site being down has nothing to do with the divisions

It’s 2 am EST. Does anyone seriously think that FIRST didn’t go home at 5 pm?

Hmmm the site seems to be working for me now… No divisions yet though…

This just proves FIRST outsources to China or India :stuck_out_tongue:

I figured I’d be up anyway. Still finishing my sophomore term paper:(

Maybe this is what they do to torment the eastern teams… kind of like holding kickoff at seven AM on a Saturday for the western teams.

Yeah, yeah… I know Hawaii has it worse.

Jason

Thank you. But there are other things that make up for it heh.

I’m always posting before I go to bed after midnight, then check to see who’s on CD, only to find East Coast teams waking up and checking at the same time…right Koko Ed???

Works fine…
