Issue using FRC-Video-Splitter-2

I’m trying out https://github.com/tytremblay/FRC-Video-Splitter-2 on some match video I have. Earlier today it was working well, but then I think I managed to try exporting videos to a non-existent directory.

Now, when I click “Get Match Data” for my event (FIM Kingsford), I am getting an error message that “Object Graph cannot be null.” I do not get an error for any other event. Is there some temp file I need to delete or something?

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Update: well, I figured it out. I deleted the various “frcv…tion*” folders in AppData/Local/Apps/2.0, re-opened the application, and no error.

How did you get the Video splitter to run? I was receiving this error from running the .exe set up.Error Running Set Up.txt (10.6 KB)

Huh. Didn’t see anything like that.

I downloaded the zip from github, extracted it, then ran FRC-Video-Splitter-2-master\deploy\beta\setup.exe, then I get a sort of “downloader” dialog, an unknown publisher install warning, it installs, asks admin permission, and then it launches.

Don’t know if it matters, but are you: Windows 10? 32 or 64 bit? have any firewall enabled? admin permissions?

Could you link the zip, I have been looking around but don’t exactly see it. Windows 10 64 bit, Firewall enabled, and have partly admin permissions (college administered laptop).

https://github.com/tytremblay/FRC-Video-Splitter-2, under the Clone or Download button, which gives https://github.com/tytremblay/FRC-Video-Splitter-2/archive/master.zip.

Thank you, have it working now! :slight_smile:

Hey everyone. Developer of frc video splitter here. If you find problems, please submit an issue on GitHub. I’ve suddenly come across a lot of free time and I’m considering rekindling this project.

Running into the same problem that you explained above but stuck with this error when trying to delete. Update: Got it working, was looking in the wrong subfolder.
Error

I released a new version of the splitter today:
