Issues getting PhotonVision installed on an Orange Pi 5

My team has been working on experimenting with an Orange Pi for vision on our robot. We’ve ordered an Orange Pi 5 Pro but we’re struggling on getting PhotonVision to boot. We were able to get the Pi to boot using one of Orange Pi’s default ubuntu jammy OS, however PhotonVision does not seem to be booting correctly. Connecting an HDMI cable to the device shows what appears to be a terminal but the screen is green and unreadable. We tested v2024.3.1 and v2024.2.9 (the photonvision-*-linuxarm64_orangepi5.img.xz file), but both the releases are having the same issue. We’re using an old router connected to a computer to test this while the robot radio is being used. This setup has worked using an old Raspberry Pi 4 and PhotonVision was functioning properly on this Pi.
Does anyone know what’s causing this issue?

I’m guessing that is the wrong image being the Pro versions. That latest dev has a Pro image, but the ones you mentioned don’t. Releases · PhotonVision/photonvision · GitHub

That’s good to know, I didn’t catch that the dev release had Plus builds
Thank you! We will give it a try

Here’s a link to a desktop environment-less installation of Ubuntu Jammy for the Orange Pi 5 Pro. Make sure the Pi is connected to the internet upon installation. Afterwards, install Photonvision using these instructions and restart the Pi. Should work then as I did this yesterday.
I do not use the official PhotonVision image as it has a desktop environment which isn’t needed and wastes resources.

For anyone who may come across this thread in future, this was indeed the solution to our issue, thanks again for the help!
