Issues with STIMS again this year?

This was mentioned a bit in another thread, but is anyone else having a ton of issues with STIMS again this year? I was hoping the New New NEW STIMS™ was going to solve some of last year’s problems, but it looks like I’ve just traded them for new ones.

The main problem is even after kids add their parent info, send the invite, and the parent follow the invite to create the account, their parent is still not showing up under the student’s info in STIMS. Has anyone else had issues with this?

Additionally, there’s the infinite loop issue where a student can’t reset their password, which… is just more easily solved by creating an entirely new account. This is disappointing, but more addressable than the first issue…

When following this guide exactly, I have not had this issue.

With at least one, I watched them add their parent’s info and send the invite, and they still don’t appear. I don’t know what the deal is…

I sent the guide out to my team as well. I have one student who is unable to invite his parent - he tried it at the last meeting while I watched and got the same error. Pretty frustrating when there are bugs in the system, it would be nice to have a tech support contact rather than just frcteams to help with this.

We were getting that too with one student! The page just… crashes on trying to add a parent for one student. I sent an email to FIRST trying to figure out what in the world we should be doing differently… I’m expecting a “delete your cookies and cache, make sure you are using a modern browser” response, but hey, I tried. :rolleyes:
