It works!

Well, after a long, somewhat painful, and really tiring six weeks, rookie team 810 has got their robot up. I’ll post some pics tomorrow, cause we didn’t have the digital camera last night. Basically, we were able to push a 150 pound or so man down a tile hallway. I won’t let out the secret just yet, but we have a lot of power :D. If you want to see us in action, come to the LUI regional, the NYC regional, or the nationals. Yeah, a lot of competitions for a rookie team, but hey, there’s always a first time for everything.

HEY IT’S STEVE!!! LETS TALK

I M PO’D!!!

steve, remember, don’t spam these boards, or else you’ll give us a bad name, although from what i hear, some rookies are making rookies all over look bad. oh well, there’s always some bad teams.

Hey, congrats guys! Glad to hear the past 6 weeks were a success! I look forward to hearing how regionals go! Best of luck to you!

Rookies make rookie mistakes, that’s why they’re rookies. Like the team that asked last year where the instructions for their robot were. I felt sad for that. Good thing it was anonomous (sp?).

i hoep you’re kidding about the team asking for the instructions for the robot. that’s just like, too sad t obe true. oh well, we made plenty of mistakes, but i think we’ll come out all right in the end.

Out of the three years I have been apart of FIRST, I am most impressed with this year. Because everyone is so helpful, and because information is passed so freely without question between teams (do in part to these very boards) rookie teams no longer look like “rookie” teams. A big hand to all those who helped out a new team this year (or any team for that matter), and an even bigger hand to those new teams who were brave enough to try such a crazy six weeks

See you all at the regionals and/or nationals. My team, 64, plans on attending Seattle and LA, maybe we will catch some of you guys there

Ian, wish I was but i’m not.

Speaking of being helpful, WakeZero’s right. Many thanks to ChiefDelphi for hosting this forum. Have fun at regionals everyone!
