FIRST better make some more obvious names for Infinite Recharge. The item that robots interact with needs to have a short, one-word name, and be easily relatable to the shape.
We called the cube mech a gear mech all last year, too. At some point in the build season I just called everything a “thing” and pointed at it, usually after mumbling for 5-10 seconds.
