FRC Team 1359 is looking for an old jaguar motor controller for our demonstration robot. We burnt ours out raising and lowering the boom on our tshirt cannon. We are more than willing to pay postage for your trash, our treasure!

Is there a more reliable controller that would work in its place, or are you relying on the odd jag-specific can interface? If not, I’d just throw a Spark/etc cheap PWM controller on and call it a day.

I’m going to suggest upgrading to something more modern.
And I’m saying that as someone who is working on a robot that uses VICTOR 884s.

Well, you’re talking to the NEMO here, so I probably can’t give you an exact answer on why we aren’t switching, but it has to do with how the rest of the system is set up. This is a demo robot with a tshirt cannon. It doesn’t need to be flashy, we push it hard and hold it together with duct tape sometimes!

ooohhh, you might want to go with one of those instead. All of mine are ripped off practice robots.
